Monteblanco Farm, located in La Tocora village, Acevedo, Colombia, at 1750 meters altitude, is a family-owned coffee farm managed by Rodrigo Sánchez Valencia. Surrounded by natural landmarks like the Suaza River Valley and the Cueva de los Guácharos National Park, the farm spans 14 hectares and grows varieties such as Geisha, Bourbon Rosado, Pacamara, and Caturra. Known for producing world-class coffee, Monteblanco has won several prestigious awards, including the Yara Champion 2017 and 2018, and Roasters United 2019.
Monteblanco’s infrastructure includes a wet mill, drying facilities, and advanced fermentation processes that contribute to the high quality of their coffee. They utilize methods like anaerobic fermentation and cold fermentation to develop unique profiles sought after by the international coffee market.
The farm’s success is deeply rooted in tradition, hard work, and innovation. Through collective efforts with the Aromas del Sur team, they handle everything from germination to export, offering diverse and versatile coffees recognized worldwide for their exceptional flavor and aroma.
